Volunteer with Shere Open Gardens
Shere Open Gardens is made possible by the incredible volunteers who give their time, energy, and enthusiasm each year. Whether you are greeting visitors, helping in the Village Hall, or supporting our stalls, your contribution plays a vital part in the day.
Volunteering is open to everyone, and no previous experience is required. You’ll receive a full briefing in advance, along with support from our friendly team throughout the event.
Roles Volunteers Can Help With
• Visitor welcome and ticket checks
• Stewarding around the village and gardens
• Helping with teas in the Village Hall
• Supporting the plant stall
• Assisting at the Pimms Bar
• Guiding families and answering questions
