These Terms & Conditions apply to all visitors, ticket purchasers, volunteers, sponsors, and users of the Shere Open Gardens website.
By using our website or attending the event, you agree to these terms.
1. Event Information
Shere Open Gardens is scheduled for Sunday, 14 June 2026.
We reserve the right to adjust timings or amend the programme where necessary.
2. Ticket Purchases
2.1 Children
Children under 16 may attend free of charge when accompanied by a responsible adult.
2.2 Entry Conditions
• Proof of purchase may be required
• Your invoice will serve as a Proof of purchase
• Entry is valid only for the date and times advertised
• We reserve the right to refuse admission for safety or operational reasons
3. Event Changes or Cancellation
We may cancel or amend the event due to:
• Severe weather
• Safety concerns
• Circumstances beyond our control
If cancellation is required, refunds will be issued according to our Refund Policy.
4. Behaviour and Safety
Visitors must:
• Be respectful of all private gardens and property
• Supervise children at all times
• Follow instructions from stewards and volunteers
• Not engage in unsafe or disruptive behaviour
Pets must be kept under control and may not be permitted in certain gardens.
5. Volunteers
By registering as a volunteer, you agree that:
• You are offering your time voluntarily
• You will follow guidance from event coordinators
• You will act safely and responsibly
6. Sponsorship
Sponsorship enquiries do not create a binding agreement until confirmed in writing by Shere Open Gardens.
7. Website Use
You agree not to:
• Misuse the website
• Attempt to breach security or access restricted areas
• Copy content without permission
8. Liability
Shere Open Gardens is not liable for:
• Personal injury caused by misuse or unsafe behaviour
• Loss or damage to personal belongings
• Interruptions due to technical or environmental issues
We do not exclude liability where it cannot legally be limited.
